Irish Animation Awards Winner and more...

RECENT WINS.png

We are thrilled to announce that Pink Kong Studios short film “The Dead Hands of Dublin” was the winner of “Best Sound Design” at this year’s (virtual) IAA Awards! The sound design and mix on animated short was carried out by the wonderfully talented Francisco Rios and Mark Fitzpatrick from our post house partners, Gorilla Post Productions.

“The Dead Hands of Dublin” also won “Best Sound” at The British Animation Film Festival and was nominated for “Best Short” earlier this month. We also came home with “Best Animated Short” and “Best Sound” as well as nominations for “Best Director” and “Best Music” at the Independent Horror Film Festival last month! To cap it off we won “Short Animation Winner” at the Monsterflix Awards.

We couldn’t be more delighted with the success this project has had so far.

Congratulations to all the team involved!!! Thanks to our funders Screen Ireland and RTÉ for the backing.
